The invention of the telephone is wrongly attributed to the Scotchman Alexander Graham Bell when in fact it was a little-known Italian, Antonio Meucci.

Bell did not invent the telephone, but stole the idea without acknowledgement from Antonio Santi Giuseppe Meucci.
